Cats are smarter than dogs

"Cats are smarter than dogs. You can't get
eight cats to pull a sled through snow."
:-Jeff Valdez.

Have a laugh at this statement today.

I'm not a pet owner so I'm neutral in the battle between cat and dog
owners. Must say though I've noticed that cats are more independent.
Sometimes I wonder whether they are secretly disdainful of humans.

Dogs seem to thrive on the love of their owners. And they sure do
reciprocate love!

I'm trying hard to imagine cats pulling a sled. All I can see is them
peering through the window from a warm room with a puzzled look on
their faces.

Don't want to make too much of this but aren't cats more associated
with women?

What do you pet owners think?

Awakening Intuition : Using Your Mind-Body Network for Insight and Healing-Mona

Awakening Intuition explores the idea that learning to use intuition and understanding its connection with memories, dreams, and healing can strengthen your body against disease and enrich your life. Using case studies, author Mona Lisa Shultz portrays her belief that emotions and diseases are linked, what areas of the body are affected by what kinds of feelings, and how we can tune in to the cause of an ailment. Indeed, Schultz describes curing herself of a brain disorder using intuition, and claims she keeps her Graves' disease in remission solely through this work.

Schultz's basic treatise is that the body is continuously sending us messages through symptoms and symbols to get our attention. By heeding these messages and using intuition to decode them, we can make changes that enhance our health and emotional well-being.

Schultz is a physician, neuropsychiatrist, and neuroscientist who has worked as a "medical intuitive" for more than a decade. Far from claiming extraordinary powers, Schultz believes we are all intuitive and can train ourselves to tap into our resources. "It's a real down-to-earth capacity that is available to anyone willing to tune in his transmitter and listen in to what's being broadcast," writes Schultz. "The information it offers us is practical, and it can immeasurably improve and enrich our lives." --Joan Price

Choose To Conceive Consciously

Pregnancy has great consequences for both mother and baby. It is my wish that someday, all women will choose to conceive consciously and to live out their pregnancies wisely. Babies remember their lives. Prenatal and birth memories have great potential to affect the unborn child. I know many women who have told me that they knew their parents did not want them. When mothers are detached or not invested emotionally, babies sense this. On the other hand, babies are also remarkably resilient, and often thrive despite circumstances that are not ideal.
